These terms cover your use of the Chat Exporter: Chat to PDF Android app and this website, both provided by Solo Dev Labs.
1. Licence
You may install and use the app on devices you control, for personal or business purposes. The optional Pro unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Google account, and it includes future updates to the app. You may not resell, redistribute, decompile or reverse engineer the app.
2. Your content is yours
Chat files you open and PDFs the app produces belong to you. We claim no rights over them and, because the app runs entirely on your device, we never receive them.
3. Your responsibility for what you export
You are responsible for having the right to export, store and share the conversations you process. Laws on recording, retaining and disclosing private communications differ significantly between countries, and in some places sharing a private conversation without consent carries legal consequences. Please make sure you know where you stand before you export or share a chat.
4. No legal advice
The app formats conversations so they are easier to read, cite and file. Nothing in the app, on this website, or in any guide we publish is legal advice. Whether a conversation is accepted as evidence depends on the jurisdiction, the court or authority, and the facts of the case — usually including whether the messages can be shown to be authentic and unaltered. Consult a qualified lawyer about your situation and about the format your court requires.
5. Purchases and refunds
Purchases are handled by Google Play, and Google’s refund policy applies. If something is not working as described, email guptaaryan583@gmail.com before requesting a refund — most problems get fixed quickly, and we would rather fix them.
6. Availability and changes
The app is provided as-is. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of defects or that it will handle every possible file. Features may change between versions.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Solo Dev Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the app, including any outcome of a legal, administrative or commercial matter in which an exported document is used. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and these terms do not affect statutory consumer rights you may have in your country.
8. Trademarks
Chat Exporter is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. WhatsApp is a trademark of WhatsApp LLC. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.
